There is another Boston Celtics story coming out of Los Angeles, but it is of an entirely different sort than the scandal hanging over the Los Angeles Clippers , Kawhi Leonard, and team owner Steve Ballmer for salary cap circumvention that may pump up the value of a draft asset controlled by the Celtics.

We are of course talking about several members of the team getting an early start on training for the 2026-27 NBA regular season with some private workouts in the City of Angels. The hosts of the "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took a deep dive into the rumbles of Boston players working out together in Southern California this summer as we inch closer to Media Day and training camp.
