The NHL rolled out the new Hometown Remix jerseys for every team in the 2026-27 season.
Much like MLB's City Connect jerseys and the NBA's City Edition threads, the Hometown Remix look is intended to reference something unique about each franchise:
"Few symbols in sports carry the history, pride, and emotional connection of an NHL sweater," said Brian Jennings, the NHL's senior executive vice president and chief partnerships and club strategy officer. "Hometown Remix builds on that legacy in a fresh and authentic way, celebrating the fans, culture and communities that make each NHL market unique.
"Together with Fanatics and our Clubs, we've created designs that are rooted in local identity and tell a story about the cities and fans they represent. We're incredibly excited to bring the program to life and see that passion reflected both on the ice and in the stands."
The Anaheim Ducks, for example, are leaning all the way into the jersey design from The Mighty Ducks . The Detroit Red Wings have their "Hockeytown" moniker emblazoned across the chest of their sweaters. The Florida Panthers tried to evoke a coastal sunrise with a coral primary color. The Pittsburgh Penguins were inspired by their inaugural season (1967-68) and included a triangle patch on the shoulder to represent the city's three rivers.
The Panthers, Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks will be the first to wear their Hometown Remixes on the ice Monday night.
