The Oregon Ducks football team hits the road for the first time this year as they travel to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in hopes of going 2-0 on this young season.

One could say the Cowboys are looking to avenge the 69-3 beatdown they received in Autzen Stadium a year ago, but not many associated with the program were there to witness it. Oklahoma State has a brand new coaching staff and a grand total of 91 new scholarship players in 2026. But from the looks of Week 1, it may be new coaches and new players, but the results are the same, as the Cowboys lost to Tulsa 24-10.

Despite dropping that first game, Oklahoma State did pay a handsome price for their new quarterback Drew Mestemaker , who transferred from North Texas .

The Oregon Ducks vs. Oklahoma State game starts at 9 a.m. PT on Sept. 12, 2026, in Stillwater, Okla.

Saturday's low will be 75 degrees between 6 am and 7 am, the high will be 95 degrees, but that won't be until the late afternoon, when the football game should be over. But it will still be in mid-80s around kickoff and get warmer from there. Although there is a slight chance of thundershowers, that too should occur after the game is done.
