Heritage Auctions announced that the 1985-88 WWE Intercontinental Championship belt sold for a whopping $716,750, making it one of the highest-selling wrestling collectibles of all time.
The belt was made famous by "Macho Man" Randy Savage and was on the line in his iconic WrestleMania III match against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.
In addition to Savage, the title was also held by Steamboat, Tito Santana and The Honky Tonk Man.
The 1985-88 WWE Intercontinental Title is the latest wrestling collectible to be auctioned for a big number, following Hulk Hogan's photo-matched WrestleMania I boots that went for an eye-popping $1.04 million in February.
