No. 19 Texas A&M volleyball delivered one of its biggest victories of the season Sunday afternoon, sweeping No. 4 Kentucky 3-0 on the road in Lexington.

The victory marked the Aggies' third consecutive SEC win and their second ranked road victory of the weekend after defeating Georgia on Friday . Texas A&M improved to 13-8 overall and 6-3 in SEC play, continuing an impressive turnaround after losing three consecutive conference matches earlier this month.

The sweep also carried additional significance. Texas A&M defeated Kentucky in straight sets in the 2025 national championship match, and the Aggies repeated that result in their first meeting since the title game. Texas A&M entered the match looking to build on Friday's victory over Georgia, which handed the Bulldogs their first home loss of the season. The Aggies had previously snapped a three-match losing streak against Auburn and arrived in Lexington with renewed momentum.

Sunday's result was particularly impressive considering Kentucky entered the contest 15-4 overall and 7-2 in SEC play. The Wildcats had also been difficult to beat at Memorial Coliseum, making the Aggies' second straight sweep of Kentucky a significant achievement.

Kyndal Stowers: 16 kills, 10 digs, one ace

Stowers recorded her fourth consecutive double-double, leading Texas A&M with 16 kills while hitting .314. Ring added 12 kills for her third straight match in double figures, while Sharp anchored the defense with seven blocks.

Morris matched her career high with five blocks, and Manning recorded a career-high 36 assists. Rodriguez added 12 digs, extending her streak of matches with double-digit digs to six. The victory marked Texas A&M's second win over a top-five opponent this season and its second consecutive sweep of Kentucky following last year's national championship match.

The Aggies return to Reed Arena Friday, Oct. 30, for another ranked SEC matchup against No. 9 Tennessee. First serve is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
