Predicting Bucks’ Three Most Likely Trade Candidates This Season

This offseason, it was clear the Milwaukee Bucks shifted directions after trading star forward and former Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat .

In return, they got an extra first-round pick, which they used on forward Nate Ament with the 13th overall pick in this year's draft, and they got players such as Tyler Herro , Jaime Jaquez Jr. , Kel'el Ware, and Kasparas Jakucionis .

The Bucks also held the rights to the 10th overall pick, which they used to draft guard Brayden Burries out of Arizona.

While the franchise has been working towards garnering assets for the future, its draft capital in the coming years is a question mark, and they don't have rights to its own first-round pick in 2027.

Because of this, they could be a team that sells various players during the season, and they could be active in trades. There are three veterans on this Bucks roster who could be up for grabs for contending teams.

One of those players is center Myles Turner . Turner is someone who just signed a big contract with the Bucks in 2025, but after the franchise's sudden change in direction by the franchise, he could be on the move sooner than most think.

While he's coming off a down year in 2025-2026, a change of scenery could help him get back into form. Turner likely expected to be competing for a championship with Giannis by his side upon his arrival, but now he's part of a rebuild.

Flipping Turner for draft capital or young players could help Milwaukee long-term, and a contending team may be willing to give what they want.

Another player who could be on the move before the end of the season is Caris LeVert . LeVert was traded to the Bucks from the Detroit Pistons this summer, but he could be elsewhere by the end of next season because he may not have a place on this roster.

One of Milwaukee's strengths is their backcourt. They have multiple young players at the position, and LeVert could be flipped for future assets.

Contending teams could use him for his scoring ability and veteran presence, which was his role last season with the Pistons. There is definitely a possibility that both sides could work on finding a trade partner by February.
