Houston Texans wide receiver Jaylin Noel will miss rest of season with turf toe injury
Houston Texans wide receiver Jaylin Noel is expected to miss the rest of the season and undergo surgery on his toe, a person with knowledge of the injury told the Chronicle.
Noel was place on the injured reserve because of turf toe, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.
The injury is a major blow, not only for the Texans, but also for Noel, who was off to a fast start and was leading the team with 331 receiving yards.
He also had 19 catches and two touchdowns.
The Texans drafted Noel in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft. The Texans do have depth at receiver after recently trading for Marvin Harrison Jr. and getting Tank Dell back from a significant knee injury.
