The Giants went off the rails in a loss to the LA Rams, and the bad news kept coming thereafter, as Dart is supposedly out for the season, as per the latest prognosis.

This is the worst-case scenario for the Giants as it ends the dream of a potentially devastating partnership. Instead, it is replaced by the spectre of a tough decision.

New York Giants had something in Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers

For a team that hasn't enjoyed the greatest success in the last few years, the draft becomes their only hope of landing potential superstars.

That was the case with the New York Giants, who last won the Super Bowl in 2011, and finished bottom of the standings for the last two years.

Therefore, when they drafted Jaxson Dart in 2025, the hope was rekindled, especially because WR Malik Nabers was already showing signs of being a capable contributor.

The Dart-Nabers partnership had devastating potential, but if Dart misses this season through injury, the duo will have had just 68 snaps together in two years of being on the same team.

That is not what anyone would have foreseen when Dart was drafted and Nabers was looking good, but a combination of injuries to both Nabers and Dart is making that nightmare a reality.
