Lamar Jackson dazzles in season debut
Two-time MVP accounts for 364 yards in Week 1 win vs. Colts.
Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson completed 17 of 25 passes for 324 yards – 229 in the first half - with a touchdown and no interceptions in a Week 1 win against the Indianapolis Colts . Jackson also ran seven times for 40 yards and another touchdown.
Why It Matters: Jackson seemed to benefit from a new offense that features more deep passes brought by first-time offensive coordinator Declan Doyle. The two-time MVP threw for his most yards since passing for 348 in an overtime game against Cincinnati on Oct. 6, 2024. Jackson's high last season was 288 in Week 3 against Detroit . If there was any question of Jackson's continued star potential, it was answered in the opener.
