Vote for the Journal Sentinel play of the week for the week of Sept. 7

What was the best play in the Milwaukee area this past week? You tell us.

This past week featured five excellent plays from Week 4 action of high school football around the area and you can decide by voting for the best one from now until noon on Saturday, Sept. 19, as many times as you'd like.

We now have a submission tool on our Preps Plus portion of the Journal Sentinel website. The location to upload your clips is under the top banner that's labeled " Upload Your Video ". It's a four-step process that will allow you to upload clips from the week across all fall sports. The clips must be trimmed and uploaded to be 30 seconds or shorter in the proper formatting to be eligible for selection. Please submit your clips by the end of the day on Mondays to make sure your clip is potentially included to be a nominee.

Menomonee Falls football vs. Whitefish Bay on Sept. 10

Ben Prescher, jr., Arrowhead: Prescher caught two passes for 25 yards with a 12-yard touchdown grab being the best of the bunch in Arrowhead's 45-21 victory over Brookfield East last week. The junior has caught seven balls this season, but three of them have gone for scores through the first four weeks.

Aiden Goines, jr., Menomonee Falls: Despite a 22-18 defeat to Whitefish Bay last week, Aiden Goines continued to do what he has done all season for the Phoenix and that's make big plays. Goines caught four passes for 107 yards and this 93-yard catch-and-run score against the Blue Dukes.

Keegan Degeorge, sr., Waukesha South: The star wideout was on his way to a massive night against Greenfield last week, but an ankle injury hindered that opportunity. Despite an ineligible man downfield penalty taking this touchdown off the board, Degeorge made an insane catch through traffic. He would finish with four catches for 76 yards and a 19-yard touchdown.

Mekhi Malcom, sr., Wauwatosa East: Despite the Red Raiders suffering their first defeat last week to Pewaukee, the two-way senior found a way to make an impact. He caught four passes offensively and also made a great play on this interception in Tosa East's 27-8 loss to the Pirates.

Lateef Love Jr., sr., Whitefish Bay: Was he down? The whistle didn't blow? What in the world? Regardless, it was a 10-yard touchdown run for Lateef Love Jr. on this weird play in the Blue Dukes' 22-18 victory over Menomonee Falls last week. Love Jr. would finish with 21 carries for 159 yards and this wild touchdown.
