UH nose tackle De'Marion Thomas ruled out for key game vs. Oklahoma State
De'Marion Thomas, who's started all six games for UH this season, will not be available for Saturday's top-20 matchup against Oklahoma State.
University of Houston nose guard De'Marion Thomas has been ruled out for Saturday's game against No. 18 Oklahoma State.
Thomas, who has started all six games this season, was among four players listed out on the Big 12 player availability report released Wednesday night.
Linebacker Jaden Yates, wide receiver Muizz Tounkara and offensive lineman Demetris Dean II also will miss the game.
Yates, the Cougars' second-leading tackler, missed last week's win over Kansas State . Tounkara has been dealing with a foot injury since preseason camp.
Defensive back Alvin Williamson Jr. is listed as doubtful.
Cornerback Jalen Mayo is listed as questionable, while defensive back JD Rhym and defensive lineman Ejiro Egodogbare are probable.
Myles Parker is expected to replace Thomas at nose guard.
