World Series of Darts Finals: 2026 schedule and results with Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gian van Veen in action

Northern Ireland's Gurney and the Netherlands' Maik Kuivenhoven were the highest-ranked players on the reserve list and have replaced Ilagan and Toylo respectively after the pair did not receive a decision on their Schengen visa applications before having to travel to China this week for the final two events of the PDC Asian Tour season.

Gurney will face reigning tournament champion and home favourite Michael van Gerwen in the first round at AFAS Live on Thursday September 17, while Kuivenhoven plays Jonny Clayton the following day.

Luke Littler, the 2024 champion who was beaten 11-7 by Van Gerwen in last year's final, heads to Amsterdam aiming to keep his bid for the first-ever clean sweep of majors in one year on track.

The world champion plays Danny Noppert in round one.

Luke Humphries opens against Jermaine Wattimena, while Gian van Veen will face Chris Dobey.
