DBR Podcast #840: Preparing To Defend A Football Title, Featuring Anna Snyder Of The Fayetteville Observer
Plus, we have Countdown details!
T he Duke Blue Devils hit the road this weekend for a big test on the gridiron against Illinois. We preview the game on Episode 845 .
The Illini won their opening game last weekend against UAB, and Jason and Donald go through what they did well and some areas that Duke could create an advantage. It's a tough game, but if Duke plays well and improves in some areas, they have the ability to beat Illinois and make a statement in the process.
We then get into some of the details of the activities that will take place before and during Countdown to Craziness on October 3rd. From a fan fest in K-Ville to tours and a dunk contest, Countdown sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun! Plus, it's the best time to be introduced to the women's and men's basketball teams, and we like that there's a lot of activities for everyone regardless of whether they have a ticket. We end on a sad note with a tribute to Cindy Hemmerich, wife of our friend Mike who passed away suddenly on Monday night.
