Former Spartan excelling with Big Ten foe in 2026

As many college athletics fans know, the NCAA transfer portal is one of the biggest forces within the sport. With player movement at an all-time high, fans have to see players come and go from their favorite program, sometimes within their own conference.

For Michigan State fans, there are several of those cases in 2026. One of them being Justin Denson, who made the move from MSU to Purdue this past offseason. In his first season, he is excelling at a high pace

In games against Notre Dame and Illinois, Denson has been one of the highest rated players according to PFF, while also being an elite tackler. On the year, Denson already holds 28 and 1.5 tackles for loss this season.
