Augsburg have signed forward Arijon Ibrahimovic and centre back Juma Bah on season-long loans from Bayern Munich and Manchester City, respectively, on Tuesday.

Ibrahimovic, 20, is to get match practice in Augsburg he could not be guaranteed in the star-studded squad of Bayern, where he has a contract until 2028.

Augsburg reportedly paid €500,000 ($580,000) for the loan. Ibrahimovic played on loan at Heidenheim in the past season.

"We sat down with Arijon and agreed that it would be best for his development if we loaned him out for another season," Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund said.

"He's a young player with terrific potential and, at this stage, he needs to be playing regularly. He will do so at FC Augsburg, and we will continue to monitor him closely on this journey."

Sierra Leone international Bah, 20, joined City in 2025 and then played on loan at French league clubs Lens and Nice. He is to take the place of Keven Schlotterbeck who has moved on from Augsburg to Southampton.
