Week 9 of the OHSAA high school football season is here , featuring several key matchups that could help determine conference champions and postseason positioning as teams prepare for the final stretch.

Unbeaten Claymont will put its perfect record on the line when it hosts Garaway in an Inter-Valley Conference South showdown. The Mustangs have dominated opponents defensively this season, allowing an average of just 85 yards per game.

In the IVC North, Newcomerstown travels to East Canton, with both teams looking to remain unbeaten in conference play and take control of the division race.

Meanwhile, New Philadelphia travels to West Holmes in a matchup with major Ohio Cardinal Conference implications.
