Alabama's AP Poll ranking revealed following win vs. South Carolina

The Alabama Crimson Tide are on the move yet again in the latest college football AP Poll Top 25 rankings.

Revealed on Sunday afternoon, Alabama is ranked No. 7 in the latest AP Poll, up one spot from their No. 8 ranking this past week. The Crimson Tide are also the third-highest ranked SEC team, trailing only No. 1 Texas and No. 2 Georgia.

Alabama remained unbeaten Saturday night with an impressive 49-18 home win over South Carolina. Keelon Russell led the Crimson Tide with five total touchdowns, four of which were passing, while the Alabama defense held South Carolina to 3-of-14 on third down.

Alabama will return to action in Week 5 for a Top 25 showdown on the road at Mississippi State. The Bulldogs were ranked No. 16 in Sunday's latest AP Poll.

Kickoff between the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs is set for 11 a.m. CT on ABC. The game will be played Saturday, Oct. 3, from Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi.
