Eagles-Giants inactives

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced the inactives list for their Week 9 game against the New York Giants.

The following Eagles players WILL NOT PLAY: DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks, Jihaad Campbell, Michael Carter II, Britain Covey, and Jonathan Jones.

All of these players were ruled out on the final injury report .

Smith, Wicks, and Covey being out means the Eagles have four active wide receivers: Darius Cooper, Makai Lemon, Hollywood Brown, and Elijah Moore.

Campbell being out means Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is starting at off-ball linebacker next to Zack Baun.

Tanner McKee is ACTIVE despite being ruled questionable to play with a rib injury. He's reportedly the backup quarterback behind Joe Milton. Cole Payton is available to contribute on special teams, if needed.

The Eagles temporarily elevated Elijah Mitchell and Cole Wisniewski from the practice squad for this game. This is Mitchell's third and final elevation while Wisniewski has one remaining this season.

Giants leading rusher Cam Skattebo is notably inactive after being ruled doubtful to play.
