Lions inactives: Defense shorthanded vs Dolphins, Amon-Ra St. Brown to play
The Detroit Lions inactives today in NFL Week 9 has them missing several key defenders in their game against the Miami Dolphins.
The Detroit Lions will be without several injured starters today.
The Lions take on the Miami Dolphins in a Week 9 matchup on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, entering the game as favorites to win their sixth game of the season. They'll have to do it without several key players on defense, however, with safety Kerby Joseph still unavailable to play after another week of practice.
The Lions will also be without starting cornerback D.J. Reed and edge rusher DJ Wonnum, with Wonnum suffering a concussion in the team's 19-15 win over the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday. Most notably, the Lions will miss injured captain Jack Campbell, who suffered a serious neck injury against the Vikings and was placed on injured reserve on Saturday while he continues his recovery at a Detroit-area hospital.
Notably, receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back Sione Vaki, who both were listed as questionable on the team's Friday injury report, are active for today's game.
