Orlando Magic point guard Jalen Suggs will miss at least two weeks with a mild bone bruise in his right knee after he went down late in Sunday's 111-102 win over the New York Knicks, the team announced on Monday.

Per ESPN's Vincent Goodwill , Suggs suffered "an apparent noncontact right knee injury" and had to be helped off the court with 2:09 remaining in the fourth quarter. Magic head coach Sean Sweeney reportedly "did not have an update on Suggs after the game... beyond saying that he will be evaluated."

Suggs was on a breakaway fast break and attempted to go up for a layup when his right knee appeared to buckle. He remained on the floor in pain for several minutes before being helped to his feet and walking gingerly to the locker room with assistance from team personnel.

Sweeney added that he talked briefly with Suggs after the game, and the 25-year-old was in good spirits.

Suggs has been limited to just 92 games combined over the last two seasons due to various injuries. His latest setback comes after Orlando lost star forward Paolo Banchero to a low-grade high ankle sprain that is expected to keep him sidelined for multiple weeks.

With Suggs sidelined, Anthony Black will likely take over as the Magic's starting point guard. The 22-year-old had 18 points and five assists in his season debut on Sunday.

The Magic (1-2) will continue their road trip with a matchup against the Toronto Raptors (2-1) on Wednesday.
