Lt Gen Mohit Seth to be new GOC of White Knight Corps

JAMMU: Lieutenant General Mohit Seth will take over as the new General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s Nagrota-based White Knight Corps (16 Corps) on Oct 1. He will replace Lt Gen P K Mishra, who will move to a new posting, officials said.In his distinguished military career spanning over three decades, Lt Gen Seth has served in key command and staff positions in J&K, the northeast, and at the Army HQ. He is currently the Commandant of the Indian Military Training Team in Bhutan.Lt Gen Seth previously was GOC of the Counter-Insurgency Force Kilo (Kilo Force), an elite formation of the Army’s Rashtriya Rifles tasked with anti-terror operations in north Kashmir.
