Chennai woman dies by suicide after jumping from Oragadam flyover

A 23-year-old woman died by suicide after jumping from a 25-foot-high flyover and landing on a moving car at Oragadam near Sriperumbudur on Sunday morning. Police suspect that a failed relationship led her to take the extreme step. The deceased was identified as Sindhuja, daughter of Panneerselvam, a resident of Adi Shankarar Nagar in Kancheepuram. She was working at a private factory in Oragadam.Preliminary inquiry revealed that Sindhuja had been in a relationship with a man from Kancheepuram for the past three years. Police said the couple had recently broken up, prompting her to take the extreme step.
