Looksmaxxer Clavicular charged with rape, reports say

( NewsNation ) — Looksmaxxer Clavicular has been charged with rape in Massachusetts, according to reports .

Clavicular, 20, whose real name is Braden Peters, is charged with one count of rape, one count of drugging someone for sexual intercourse and one count of procuring liquor for someone under 21, according to court records.

As an online personality, Clavicular focused on often-dangerous DIY aesthetic treatments intended to “ looksmax ,” or increase attractiveness. The concept of looksmaxxing grew out of the incel movement and emphasizes a hierarchy based on physical attractiveness.

He has been known for a practice called bone smashing, where he uses a hammer to deliberately break bones in his face to make them grow back stronger, something medical experts have warned against.

Charges were filed against Clavicular on Sept. 8, with records showing the date of the alleged offense as May 23, 2025. No other details were available.

The charges were first reported by the Bulwark , with a representative for Clavicular saying the report was exaggerated and that Clavicular had not been served an arrest warrant.

Clavicular was previously sued by a teenage influencer who accused him of battery, saying he arranged for her to go to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, got her drunk on vodka and had sex with her while intoxicated.

It is not clear whether the charges are related to that lawsuit.

Clavicular was also charged in Florida with shooting at an alligator, pleaded no contest and was sentenced to six months of probation and 20 hours of community service. He was also hospitalized in April after a suspected overdose.

Court records show an arraignment is set for Oct. 14, 2026.
