House Democratic leaders will speak with reporters Tuesday morning as Democrats pressure the Trump administration for more regulations on artificial intelligence and experts warn of increasing risks.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) has emerged as one of the loudest critics of the rapidly evolving technology , calling on his colleagues to pass legislation enacting new guardrails on the AI industry. His upper chamber counterpart, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), also pressed for more transparency as Republican leaders and President Trump brush off the anxieties.
