Far-left Democrat Angie Nixon is running away from DSA?
If the Democratic Party wins big, the left will be emboldened to go further and further. The DSA’s agenda is only the beginning.
Well, one Democratic Senate candidate is running away from the platform of the Democratic Socialists of America, even though she is a member of the group. That’s Florida’s Angie Nixon, who had this to say to Bloomberg. Watch .
So she doesn’t want to abolish prisons, because she wants to lock Ashley Moody in prison. Who is Ashley Moody, you may ask? Ashley Moody is her Republican opponent, and the incumbent senator from Florida.
I actually think that’s quite revealing of the DSA’s agenda: They do want to abolish prison for actual criminals, but they need to retain prisons so they can jail their opponents. In that way, the democratic socialists are proving that they’re just normal socialists.
When Nixon accuses Moody of stealing from kids, she’s referring to a minor scandal involving taxpayer funds, some of which were improperly directed to a nonprofit, Hope Florida. It’s perfectly proper for the state to investigate that, but a grand jury declined to indict Moody and said she wasn’t responsible for it. Socialists don’t care about the normal and standard operations of the justice system, however, since they want to abolish our entire Constitution and just do whatever they want.
And don’t let Angie Nixon fool you, that is exactly what she will try to do if the left continues to take over the Democratic Party. Theirs is a deeply radical agenda, and a dangerous one. More Americans need to take notice, because things are getting a bit dire. If recent polls are to be believed, Democrats are headed for huge gains in the midterms . Now places like Ohio and Iowa seem up for grabs. If the Democratic Party wins big, the left will be emboldened to go further and further. The DSA’s agenda is only the beginning.
