President Trump plans to travel back and forth Saturday between Mar-a-Lago and Highland Heights, Kentucky, where he is set to deliver remarks at 2 p.m., while former President Obama also holds campaign events in Ohio and Michigan.

The former Democratic president will travel to Detroit and Cleveland in an attempt to move the needle in the two midwestern swing states.

Michigan is home to highly competitive gubernatorial and congressional races, as the state’s Senate race between Abdul El-Sayed (D) and former Rep. Mike Rogers (R) has been pushed into the national spotlight.

Trump announced Friday he will be campaigning in the Wolverine State on Oct. 25, following Vice President Vance’s recent visit. The president is set to make additional stops in Wichita, Kan., Greenville, N.C., Clemson, S.C., Sioux City, Iowa, Fort Myers, Fla. and Macon, Ga. next week.

Outside of the midterms, Trump announced Friday the U.S. would waive sanctions against Russia set to take effect soon under a recently signed legislative package. The president signed the sanctions package into law last month, which was posthumously dedicated to the late Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.).

The move follows Trump’s decision to strike a deal with Russia last week to allow the country to sell diesel products to the U.S. and after Ukraine reported a Starlink outage this week that impacted their air defense operations.
