Omar Marmoush transfer news: Tottenham sign Man City forward on loan with £60m obligation to buy

Sky Sports News understands a £60m obligation to buy has been inserted in the deal and the fee is split into a £50m guaranteed payment, plus £10m in add-ons.

Eintracht Frankfurt, who sold Marmoush to City in January 2025, do not have a sell-on clause, contrary to reports.

The German club received their desired guaranteed fee at the time, plus additional bonuses.

There were also very few instalments, meaning all payment obligations to Frankfurt have been fulfilled by City.

Marmoush, who will wear the No 22 at Spurs, now follows former City teammate Savio to join Roberto De Zerbi's squad, after the Brazil winger completed an £85m move to Spurs on Tuesday .

Savio made his debut for the club during Wednesday's 5-1 win against Charlton in the Carabao Cup, where he scored and assisted Ben Davies in the victory.

De Zerbi: Marmoush can take our attack to next level

De Zerbi believes the addition of Marmoush to his squad can take their attacking play to the "next level" with the pace, intelligence and threat he offers in front of goal.

"Omar is exactly the kind of player we want at this club - ambitious, hungry and determined to make a difference," De Zerbi said.

"He has incredible attacking quality but what I also love is his desire to improve and to win.

"He brings pace, intelligence and a real threat in front of goal, and I believe he can take our attacking play to another level."

Speaking after his signing was confirmed, Marmoush said: "It feels amazing to be here. I'm so excited to get started with the team and I can't wait to meet the fans.

"I've spoken with the head coach, I loved what he had to say and I'm sure our passion for the game will go very well together."
