According to reports in England, as relayed by Mundo Deportivo , FC Barcelona have reportedly joined the long list of clubs interested in Josh King of Fulham.
Indeed, as per the report, Barça scouts have watched the 19-year-old midfielder on several occasions during the 2026/27 season and have been particularly impressed by his performances.
King, a product of the Fulham youth academy, has made an impressive start to the campaign.
In his five Premier League appearances, he has already scored twice and also provided one assist in his solitary Carabao Cup game, establishing himself as one of the standout players in a side that has struggled during the opening weeks of the season.
In all, the English midfield prospect has made 55 first-team appearances for the Cottagers since his senior debut back in 2024.

He has also played nine matches for the England U-21 national team, even finding the back of the net on one occasion.
Naturally, his breakthrough performances have led to attention from top clubs across Europe, including Barcelona.
The reigning La Liga champions are currently among the clubs showing the strongest interest and could even consider making an offer next summer.
According to the report, however, the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are also following the teenage midfielder's progress.

King is under contract with Fulham until 2029 and is valued at around €60 million.
However, the Blaugrana are not currently considering spending that amount on the player, either in January or during next summer's transfer window.
There has been no direct contact between Barcelona and King beyond the scouting activity. The Catalan club are understood to be interested in assessing the midfielder's development rather than preparing an immediate move.
His profile fits Barça's strategy of identifying young players with room to develop , but the club do not intend to make an operation that falls outside their financial limits.
For now, Barcelona's interest is focused on one question: how far Josh King can progress.
