LSU head coach Lane Kiffin joked about the Tigers not having NFL players on their roster while taking a 31-3 halftime lead over Clemson on Saturday.

"Imagine if we had pro players," Kiffin told ESPN's Holly Rowe at the end of the first half.

LSU chose not to add tight end Dae'Quan Wright and defensive lineman Zxavian Harris to its roster on Friday despite both players becoming eligible to return to college due to a Louisiana judge issuing a preliminary injunction against the NCAA in their eligibility case.

Wright was waived by the Cleveland Browns in training camp before committing to the Tigers, while Harris was waived by the New Orleans Saints.

While both were pursued by Kiffin and Co., neither was on the roster for Saturday's season opener.
