Northwestern Reveals Concession Menu Items, Prices at New $875M Stadium Set for Debut vs. Penn State

Earlier this month, Northwestern revealed that New Ryan Field , which is the Wildcats' new $875 million home , would be host to Chicago sports' first $5 menu.

Fans got a look at that menu courtesy of Northwestern News Network sports director Anna Watson.

In essence, fans who download The New Ryan Field App can get five items for $4.99 apiece: a hot dog, a cheese burger, nachos, a popcorn box or a pretzel.

Watson also gave insight into some other items as well.

A press release on the food reads as follows (in part):

"...every in-stadium market will use AI checkout technology to cut wait times, Chicago sports' first $5 menu will make game-day favorites affordable for every fan, and the iconic foods that made Chicago famous, from Al's Italian Beef to Pat's tavern-style pizza to Vienna Beef Chicago-style dogs, will be served fresh on the concourses."

The new stadium will debut on Friday, Oct. 2, when Northwestern hosts No. 13 Penn State at 8 p.m. ET.

The Wildcats have started the season 2-0 with wins over South Dakota State (34-18) and Colorado (41-7). Both games took place at Northwestern's temporary home, Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium.
