Paul Finebaum blasts Steve Sarkisian after another rough Arch Manning performance
ESPN's Paul Finebaum didn't hold back on Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian on "The Matt Barrie Show."
A week after losing to Oklahoma as the No. 1 team in the country, Texas lost at home to Florida as the No. 7 team in the nation.
Quarterback Arch Manning struggled at the end of the Oklahoma game, throwing two interceptions in the fourth quarter, and those struggles carried over into the Texas game.
He didn't see the field well on Saturday and fumbled at the end of the game, helping Florida pull off the upset.
ESPN's Paul Finebaum watched how it all played out and went after Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian for the way that Manning has played on "The Matt Barrie Show."

"I have no earthly idea what Steve Sarkisian is doing. I think we all agree that he shouldn't be calling the plays," Finebaum said . "There's too many other things going on on that sideline that are distracting. He has made an absolute mess out of the most talented team in the country. I'll wait a week before we make any declarations because they have the capability to beat anyone as we know, but what a disaster."
"The absolute arrogance of Sarkisian to crack back at people like me and others who dared to criticize Arch Manning with the idiotic take of the year that if his name was Joe Smith, you would be praising him. His name is Arch Manning. It always has been and I'm beginning to wonder if Arch Manning should even start against Ole Miss. I know he will and he's capable of leading them to a win, but I blame Sarkisian for every aspect of this."
Texas will return to the field next Saturday at home against Ole Miss. Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET.
