GEORGETOWN, Texas ( FOX 44 ) - Funeral arrangements have been announced for former Texas A&M head football coach Dennis Franchione.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 19, at The Worship Place in Georgetown, located at 811 Sun City Boulevard. A reception will follow from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Georgetown Community Center, located at 445 E. Morrow Street. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their school colors, or in golf attire.

Dennis Franchione passed away at 75 years old, according to 12thman.com . He was a native of Girard, Kansas, who served as Texas A&M's head football coach for five seasons from 2003-2007.

Franchione compiled a 32-28 record during his time in College Station. He guided the Aggies to three bowl games, highlighted by the 2004 Cotton Bowl.

According to 12thman.com, Franchione earned 213 victories in his 27 years as a head coach. He was inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame in 2017.
