How much will Arsenal pay Declan Rice in his next contract?

Declan Rice is reportedly in line to become the next Arsenal player to sign a new contract as the Gunners look to secure the futures of their biggest stars following Mikel Arteta's long-term commitment to the club .

Arsenal spent months negotiating a new agreement with Arteta and have now secured a deal that will keep him at the Emirates until the summer of 2030. The club hopes this stability will help them continue building a successful team and competing for major trophies in the coming years.

Arsenal look to secure their key players

The Gunners have made significant progress under Arteta and remain determined to strengthen their squad. While they continue to identify potential signings, they also recognise the importance of retaining the quality already available to their manager.

Keeping their leading players happy and committed is an important part of the club's plans. Arsenal want to maintain a competitive squad capable of challenging for honours, and improved contracts could help them achieve that objective.

Bukayo Saka has already secured a new agreement with the club, reportedly worth more than £300,000 per week. His contract represents a significant commitment from Arsenal, who are keen to ensure their most influential players remain in North London for the long term.

Rice could now be next in line for a similar reward as the club continues its efforts to protect the core of the squad.

According to Football Insider , Rice is in line for a new contract that could bring his earnings closer to Saka's reported salary. Such an agreement would reflect the midfielder's importance to Arsenal since his arrival from West Ham.

Rice joined the Gunners as the most expensive signing in the club's history, arriving with considerable expectations. He has since established himself as a key figure in the team, helping strengthen the midfield and contributing to Arsenal's efforts to compete at the highest level.

His performances have justified the significant investment made to bring him to the Emirates, making him an important player for Arteta both now and in the years ahead.

Securing Rice on improved terms would underline Arsenal's determination to retain their leading talents and continue building around them. With Arteta committed until 2030 and Saka already on a new deal , an agreement for Rice would represent another important step in the club's long-term planning.
