Gabriel gets his first goal of the season! Just minutes earlier it looked like the Arsenal defender would succumb to injury - but no. He's now celebrating the Gunners' second after a dominant display against a toothless Everton.
Blues without star striker for London derby. Spurs mix things up with Dominic Solanke on the bench.
Ezri Konsa's early goal is enough to separate the teams at the break.
Konsa's strike is Arsenal's only effort on target from 11 attempts so far - fewer than Everton's two from three - but Mikel Arteta will be happy that his much-changed team are currently doing enough to overcome a difficult-to-beat Everton side.
Thierno Barry continues to look a nuisance, but also a player who needs multiple chances laid on for him before he'll score. David Moyes' side are lacking serious firepower in the important moments, a factor that may well decide this game.
The set piece team aren't actually THE set piece team?
That didn't take long! Konsa gets the final touch after Gabriel's header causes havoc in the Everton box. That's his first goal for the Gunners!
Man City can't quite topple Unai Emery's men.
Two goals from Nicolas Jackson compounds Enzo Maresca to an unfamiliar feeling: his first Premier League defeat as Man City manager.
While his side showed signs of fight, Aston Villa's midfield combativeness and ability to break at speed caused all kinds of issues for the club who may not even be in the division next season.
Erling Haaland's consolation header keeps him atop the goalscoring charts, but Man City have now left the door open for Arsenal to go level with them on 21 points later today when they face Everton.
Former Chelsea striker puts in stunning two-goal show to huge round of applause as he's subbed off with 10 minutes to go.
It's Jackson again! Give this man a chance and he will score right now. Just when Man City were looking set to go on and capitalise from the momentum of their goal.
Arsenal Lineup - Gyokeres Starts vs. Everton
Mikel Arteta rings the changes after a busy week defined by Bukayo Saka's injury. Riccardo Calafiori is replaced by Miles Lewis-Skelly. Viktor Gyokeres and Mikel Merino come into the starting XI.
He's barely had a touch all game. It doesn't matter. Ndiaye beats Manzambi and crosses beautifully to Haaland, who still has plenty to do. The big Norwegian rises above Lindelof and steers his header over the line.
Back underway at Villa Park. Rico Lewis and Phil Foden replace Marc Guehi and Rayan Cherki for the second 45 as Maresca looks to tighten things up.
Nicolas Jackson's goal is the difference at the break! Villa's fast start caught Man City off guard, but it's been an exciting back-and-forth since then, with chances for both teams.
Iliman Ndiaye's shot off the post is as close as the current Premier League leaders have come to scoring so far. The former Everton man also could have won a penalty, but VAR waved it away without too much stress.
Work for Enzo Maresca and his side to do in the second half.
To the tune of Outkast's 'Ms. Jackson' - I'm sorry Nic Jackson, oooh, are you for real?
What a start! Ruben Dias' poor ball leads to a miscontrol from Marc Guehi. Nicolas Jackson pounces, cuts inside Elliot Anderson and powers beyond Gianluigi Donnarumma. Super stuff!
Unai Emery's side boosted by Johan Manzambi shrugging off fitness issue. Alysson gets another start after impressive midweek performance.
Phil's great form not enough for a starting spot against Villa.
