BREAKING: Valverde questionable against Villarreal

Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde is questionable to face Villarreal this Saturday, coach José Mourinho announced during today's pre-match press conference. Mourinho did not disclose Valverde's issue, but it looks like the Uruguayan midfielder could sit this one out as Real Madrid get ready for a crucial stretch of the 2026-27 season.

In other news, Eder Militao will also miss the upcoming games even though he's already rejoined the squad in training. The Brazilian defender needs to keep improving his conditioning in order to make sure he stays healthy and fresh when he officially comes back from his injury.

Real Madrid will face Roma in what's expected to be a tough away game in the Champions League next Wednesday, so Mourinho will need to start using the depth at his disposal this month.
