Vote for The Daily Herald's TSSAA football athlete of the Week from Week 5

We're through another Friday night in the Tennessee high school football season and there was no shortage of standout performers across the Columbia area in Week 5 .

Now you can cast your vote to decide The Daily Herald's TSSAA football Athlete of the Week.

Nathanel Karkau, Columbia Academy: Karkau caught three passes for 44 yards and a score, and on defense had five tackles and a sack.

Daniel Booker, Columbia Central: Booker completed 12-of-16 passes for 172 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing six times for 75 yards and two touchdowns in a 45-7 win over Lawrence County.

Brody Bullock, Independence: Bullock caught six passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for a touchdown, in a 56-14 win over Coffee County. On defense he added an interception returned for 27 yards.

Caden Hagan, Loretto: Hagan had 15 carries for 166 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-28 defeat to Collinwood.

Jonah Gipson, Spring Hill: Gipson rushed 12 times for 101 yards and two touchdowns while also completing 6-of-10 passes for 45 yards in a 36-12 win over Maplewood.

McKaleb Powell, Summertown: Powell had 114 all-purpose yards and two total touchdowns in a 30-7 win over Scotts Hill.

Micah Sally, Summit: Sally caught 10 passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-21 defeat to Lincoln County.

Cam Surratt, Zion Christian: Surratt was 15-for-21 passing with 270 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in a 43-12 defeat to Christian Community.
