J.J. McCarthy failed to lead the Minnesota Vikings on a scoring drive during his four drives on the field on Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens.

McCarthy had a few nice moments, but his inability to finish off a drive in the red zone stood out the most.

None of the Vikings quarterbacks led them to the end zone, though, as the Ravens won 13-3.

McCarthy's highlight reel play came in the first quarter on a 50-yard pass to Tai Felton.

Unfortunately for McCarthy and the Vikings, that was the most notable play on their second drive of the game.

McCarthy had a few opportunities to hit open receivers in the red zone, but he failed to connect on second down with Felton and on fourth down with Myles Price.

McCarthy only picked up 31 yards on his other four completions. He faced a ton of pressure over his four drives from the Ravens pass rush.

Minnesota was forced to punt on three of the four McCarthy-led drives. The other fizzled out with a turnover on downs at the goal line.

McCarthy had one series in the second quarter before he was replaced by Carson Wentz.

McCarthy's final audition to confirm his role as the team's backup quarterback comes on Friday against the Denver Broncos.
