Aaron Rodgers now sits third all-time in passing touchdowns.

When Aaron Rodgers retires from the NFL, he'll go down as one of the best quarterbacks of his era. While that's been the case for years, Rodgers found a way to remind fans of his place in NFL history in Week 7.

With his second-quarter touchdown pass to Darnell Washington, Rodgers passed Indianapolis Colts legend Peyton Manning for third place on the all-time passing touchdowns list.

Rodgers managed the achievement on a jump ball to Washington, who bullied a defender and somehow held onto the ball as he was shoved out of bounds.

The score put the Pittsburgh Steelers up 10-3 with roughly five minutes to play before halftime.

With the touchdown, Rodgers now has 540 passing scores in his career. That figure puts Rodgers behind only Drew Brees and Tom Brady.

It was only a matter of time before Rodgers passed Manning on the all-time list. The 42-year-old Rodgers entered the 2026 season just 12 touchdowns shy of tying Manning. He reached that figure in only six games, and entered Week 7 just a score away from breaking the tie.

It's unlikely Rodgers moves any higher on the all-time passing touchdowns list. Following his second-quarter touchdown, Rodgers sat 31 passing touchdowns behind Brees for second.

While it's tough to fully count out a player of Rodgers' caliber, adding 31 more touchdowns in the remaining 10 regular-season games is a massive ask of any player, let alone one in his 22nd NFL season.

If Rodgers really wanted to pass Brees, the Steelers' quarterback would likely have to play another season. That doesn't seem likely after Rodgers stated 2026 would be his final year in the NFL.
