The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to take on the Carolina Panthers Sunday afternoon in a crucial NFC South matchup at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
Tampa Bay received some encouraging news ahead of kickoff as quarterback Baker Mayfield is officially active and will start after missing the previous three games with a dislocated right thumb.
However, the Buccaneers will be without several key players. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (concussion/foot), offensive tackle Luke Goedeke (calf), and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (rib) have all been ruled out. Winfield will miss his third consecutive game as Tampa Bay continues to deal with injuries on both sides of the football.
Carolina will also be missing a key defensive contributor as outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips is inactive due to a hamstring injury. The Panthers will also be without tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders and running back AJ Dillon.
Below are the official inactives for both teams ahead of Sunday's game.
QB Haynes King (Emergency Third Quarterback)
The Buccaneers (1-5) will look to get back in the win column against a Panthers (3-2) team that has won three of its last four games.
