Cowboys S Malik Hooker reportedly has fractured forearm, expected to miss multiple weeks

Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport , starting safety Malik Hooker sustained a fractured forearm in Sunday's game and is expected to miss multiple weeks. The report confirmed head coach Brian Schottenheimer's postgame concern that Hooker had sustained a broken bone.

Per the report, Hooker will consult with a hand specialist for a more precise prognosis.

The Cowboys also lost starting linebacker Demarian Overshown to a hamstring injury during Sunday's game. As of Monday afternoon, his status moving forward was unclear.

Hooker is a 10-season NFL veteran and Dallas' starting free safety. He's played for the Cowboys since 2021 and has been a full-time starter since 2023.
