Seven months after the Seahawks ' Super Bowl 60 triumph, the NFL is back.

Reigning champion Seattle hosted the traditional opener against the Patriots in a non-traditional slot, with the season kicking off Wednesday as a concession to the 49ers vs. Rams game in Melbourne, Australia, on Thursday.

Those games teed up a full slate of action Sunday, highlighted by early divisional clashes in Vikings vs. Packers , Eagles vs. Commanders and Giants vs. Cowboys , with the latter getting the prime-time slot. Week 1 action closes out Monday night with another rivalry game in Chiefs vs. Broncos .
