For the first time in his career, Josh Allen won a game in overtime.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback was 0-7 in overtime games before taking down the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, and he was relieved to finally end up victorious in overtime.

Allen struggled throughout the first half, but his defense held strong and helped Buffalo go into halftime on top. Both teams remained stagnant in the third quarter before a fourth-quarter shootout.

The Bills led 19-14 heading into the final quarter, but a Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua touchdown gave the Rams the lead. The two teams traded touchdowns once again to make it a 27-27 game heading into the final minutes.

Allen led a touchdown drive to regain the lead, but a clutch touchdown from the Rams sent things to overtime.

In overtime, Buffalo had the ball in the red zone before James Cook III fumbled it, and the Rams marched into field goal range. For a moment, it appeared Allen was going to remain winless in overtime, but the Bills blocked the field goal attempt to stay alive.

They capitalized on the other end with a game-winning field goal after Allen scrambled his way down the field.

The Bills improved to 4-1 with the win, and Allen got a monkey off his back with the overtime win.
