The LA Rams and Buffalo Bills had an excellent back-and-forth game that ended with the Bills winning in overtime, but Alaric Jackson's actions will be the only thing fans will talk about.

The Rams missed a field-goal attempt to possibly win the game in overtime, allowing Bills kicker Tyler Bass to complete the walk-off field goal to give the Bills a win.

Many fans were in agreement that the game was an exciting affair, and both teams came out looking strong. But Jackson's post-game behaviour may have poured water on the fans' enthusiasm for the game.

During ESPN's post-game coverage of the Monday Night Football game between the LA Rams and the Buffalo Bills, an awkward exchange was caught on camera.

Bradley Chubb and Alaric Jackson were seen exchanging words after the game, before Jackson approached Chubb and seemingly swung at Chubb, with the Bills star's hat being knocked to the floor.

Regardless of what was said, this was an unacceptable move from Jackson. To punch a player, especially after such a gruelling and hard-fought game, is totally uncalled for.

There is no word on what exactly was said between the two that led to this heated confrontation between the two players.

Given that this footage was aired on national television, the NFL is very likely to intervene and issue some punishment against Jackson.

Perhaps the NFL will also reprimand and punish Chubb if his comments are deemed provocative and inappropriate.

But there is no way Jackson will be punished less severely than Chubb, as he can be seen clearly as the aggressor in the situation.

While there is no clear and fixed punishment for violence, the NFL's code of conduct will require an investigation into the matter.

Jackson could face a significant fine or an unpaid suspension for an unspecified number of games for punching Chubb.

A heartbreaking loss for the Rams is now compounded by this incident, and many Rams fans will be frustrated by what their player did.
