The Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline is rapidly approaching, and while several NFC teams have been active, the undefeated Minnesota Vikings have stood pat. Yet, the belief is that first-year general manager Nolan Teasley has been actively involved in trade negotiations; he just hasn't executed a deal yet.
Though, just because the Vikings have remained dormant, it doesn't necessarily mean that a trade isn't coming. In fact, some analysts pretty much expect at least one deal from the Vikings. However, in this case, it's because they think a current Vikings player will be traded in the next two weeks.
ESPN Suggests Jauan Jennings Has a High Chance of Being Traded From Minnesota Vikings
Vikings fans are pretty focused on the possibility of adding a star running back to help jumpstart the offense, such as Jonathan Taylor , Breece Hall, or even Saquon Barkley. Others would like to see the NFL's best defense get even better with the addition of another pressure-generating DT or a rotational edge rusher.
Yet, the trade that ESPN's analysts find most likely is one that actually subtracts Jauan Jennings from the roster. How likely is a Jennings trade before the deadline? ESPN puts the odds at 50% .
"The Vikings' free agent addition is not a focal point of the offense and is considered a trade candidate leaguewide. But he did catch two passes for 34 yards Sunday against the Colts for a Minnesota passing game that's not exactly thriving right now. Jennings, who's on a one-year deal, could prove a low-cost option for teams looking to add to their receiver room. The 49ers are an obvious fit." Jeremy Fowler on Jauan Jennings

While a reunion with the San Francisco 49ers seems like the most obvious fit for the physical receiver with an affinity for run blocking, ESPN also lists the WR-needy Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons as other potential landing spots.
With Jennings signed to a one-year deal but really only offering production as a run-blocker, it makes sense for the Vikings to consider offers that give the 29-year-old a better opportunity to produce as a pass-catcher. Whether those offers materialize remains to be seen, and the Vikings are still hopeful that the veteran will continue to be a bigger part of their offense, as seen with his best game yet with his new team in Week 7.
Some out there even think the Vikings could send Jennings back to San Francisco while acquiring another player from Kyle Shanahan's team . While it's unclear what will happen between now and the NFL trade deadline on the 10th, there's a strong sense the Vikings will do something , and it's very possible that trading Jennings is part of the plan.
