The Tigers fell behind 24-7 by halftime, then fought back with 17 straight points to tie the game at 24. LSU had a chance late, but Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss ran for a 14-yard touchdown and then helped the Rebels complete the two-point conversion. LSU’s final drive ended when Jaylon Braxton intercepted Sam Leavitt in the end zone.The loss dropped LSU to 2-1 and gave Ole Miss a 3-0 start. Chambliss finished with 363 passing yards and two touchdown passes.
