Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen categorically denied any rumors that he's running less because of a knee injury.

"There is no truth to that," he told reporters on Thursday. "Feeling great."

Allen, 30, ran just five times for four yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 29-26 loss against the New England Patriots.

He's averaged 8.2 rushes per game, which would be an increase on the 6.5 runs per game he averaged in 2025, though the 2026 number is slightly skewed by his 14 rushing attempts in a Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions.

Any injury to Allen would obviously be a massive concern in Buffalo. Everything the Bills do centers around the dynamic play of their star quarterback. But how often Allen is running the ball isn't—or shouldn't be—the primary concern at the moment.

That distinction belongs to the team's sudden issues with turnovers. In Week 3's win over the Los Angeles Chargers, Buffalo turned the ball over five times. On Sunday, the Bills turned the ball over twice, including Allen's head-scratching interception into double coverage on the team's final offensive drive of the game.

"We've got to find a way to learn from this and move it into the back of our brain and move on," Allen told reporters after the loss.
