With Odell Beckham Jr. is back in the NFL following his abbreviated stint with the New York Giants, the veteran receiver market will turn its attention to Tyreek Hill as he looks to return to the field coming off a major knee injury.

Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz , Beckham is signing with the Minnesota Vikings. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport added the three-time Pro Bowler will be on the practice squad.

Hill has already been linked in a potential reunion with the Kansas City Chiefs following injuries to Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton in Sunday's win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Other receiver-needy teams that also have playoff aspirations at this point include the Raiders and New England Patriots.

Drew Rosenhaus, Hill's agent, told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday he was planning to negotiate with teams about the veteran wideout that same day.

Despite potential interest from other clubs, Rapaport said it would be a "surprise" if Hill ends up anywhere other than Kansas City.

The Patriots are going to get pass-catching help when A.J. Brown returns from the sprained ankle that has kept him out since Week 1. He is currently on injured reserve, so the earliest he could play is Week 6 against the New York Jets.

Brown is reportedly pushing to return as soon as he is eligible.

There might have been more urgency from the Patriots to make another move if they continued on their trajectory through the first three games, but Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills quieted some of the concerns.

Efton Chism III, who caught the game-winning touchdown against Buffalo, is also earning more playing time. His 34 offensive snaps were eight more than he had in the first two games combined.

The Raiders' 3-1 start push them to make additions prior to the trade deadline. They need more help on the outside with Tre Tucker as the only receiver on the team with at least 200 receiving yards.

Among wide receivers on the Raiders' roster, Cody White is second on the team with five catches for 64 yards. The offense runs through tight end Brock Bowers, who is second on the team with 202 receiving yards despite missing two games.

It's not a surprise the Chiefs would be viewed as overwhelming favorites to sign Hill. His familiarity with Andy Reid's scheme and quarterback Patrick Mahomes would make it easy to get acclimated back into the league.

The big question hovering over Hill's playing career right now is, what will he look like coming off a major injury at the age of 32? He dislocated his left knee, tore the ACL and LCL last season with the Miami Dolphins.

Hill is reportedly targeting November for his return to game action, though he would presumably likely want to be signed ahead of time so he can practice with a team.

In four games with Miami last season prior to the injury, Hill had 265 yards and one touchdown on 21 catches. He spent his first six seasons in Kansas City, racking up 6,630 receiving yards and 56 receiving touchdowns in 91 games.
