The Houston Texans are going to be without another key wide receiver, as Jaylin Noel will reportedly miss the remainder of the 2026 campaign after requiring surgery for turf toe, per Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle .

He'll join Jayden Higgins, who is on injured reserve and done for the season with a torn AcL.

Noel's injury shouldn't change the fantasy calculus for Nico Collins much, who is already C.J. Stroud's top target in the passing game when healthy. He'll remain a low-end WR1 going forward.

But it could have interesting implications for Marvin Harrison Jr., who has managed just four receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown in his two games for the Texans since being traded midseason from the Arizona Cardinals.

In theory, he should be the definitive No. 2 wideout in Houston's offense, but he's pretty tough to trust from a fantasy perspective given how unproductive he's been all season long. And while Houston has dealt with a ton of injuries at the position, they still have Xavier Hutchinson and Tank Dell as well.

Harrison has to be considered a flex option at this point, but an extremely risky one. He should be rostered in all formats but it may be a bit early to trust him in your lineup when the Texans are back in Week 9 unless you've been hit hard by injuries or bye weeks.
