Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ foundation launches a new initiative to help sick children of Kansas City amid the new season

Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs’ popular quarterback, and his wife, popular entrepreneur and investor Brittany Mahomes, have always remained dedicated to the communities in Kansas City. As the Kansas City Chiefs remain unbeatable on the field in the last five matches of the new season, Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes have stood beside families facing a tough time with their sick children through their foundation, 15 and Mahomies.Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ foundation helps sick children in Kansas CityA few weeks ago, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes launched 15 and FARE, a partnership between the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation and a food allergy research nonprofit, Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), to support families with food allergies.The initiative was inspired by their children as their daughter Sterling has milk and dairy allergies, and their son Bronze had a severe peanut allergy reaction.In a news release, Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes reflected on the partnership as she said, "As a food allergy mom myself, I know how important it is for families to feel prepared and supported, especially during back-to-school season…”The Kansas City Current co-owner Brittany Mahomes added, "For parents managing food allergies, having access to trusted resources and a strong community can make all the difference. 15 and the Mahomies is proud to partner with FARE to bring Kansas City families together for a day of learning, connection and fun."Sung Poblete, PhD, RN and CEO of FARE also opened up about the partnership as, "From cafeteria lunches and classroom activities to field trips and extracurricular programs, parents are preparing their children to navigate environments where they may encounter food allergens without a parent or caregiver by their side.”Sung Poblete, PhD, RN and CEO of FARE added, “Our goal is to provide families with practical resources, education, and confidence as they head into the new school year.
