Harrison Butker's job as the Kansas City Chiefs' kicker has already been at risk in recent weeks, and he didn't do himself any favors on Sunday.

Butker missed a crucial field goal late in the game against the Denver Broncos, and the Chiefs went on to lose 28-24. He took ownership of the miss after the game, saying it was "not good enough." Butker added that the weather wasn't a factor in the miss.

The miss came just days after the Chiefs signed veteran kicker Justin Tucker to their practice squad amid Butker's struggles. That surely was a blow to his confidence, but he said he has to keep his focus on just making kicks.

"I try not to think about that. I try to focus on every kick, one kick at a time," he said. "Had the extra points and that field goal, but just a really bad miss on the 54, whatever it was."

Butker, who has been the Chiefs' kicker since 2017, has already missed six field goals this year and one extra point. He only missed five field goals total last year.

Whether the miss on Sunday will be enough for the Chiefs to move to a different kicker remains to be seen.
